Welcome to 2C
Dear 2C Families,
My name is Madelyn Macejik and I am so excited to begin the year with you and your child. This year is an important step in your child's education of learning and discovering new things. I am committed to making your child's experience an exciting time, full of growth and development!
Teaching is my passion! I have been teaching for nine years. I have taught kindergarten, first grade, second grade and third grade. I have a Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education and a Masters Degree in Reading/Reading Specialist from Benedictine University. At Culver, I also coach cross-country and track.
I am big fitness enthusiast. I enjoy running, biking, swimming, hiking, and lifting weights. I also live in Chicago and enjoy exploring the city on the weekends.
My goals are to give your child the academic and social skills needed to progress to third grade; to provide a nurturing, supportive and fun classroom environment; and to help the children make new friends and discover new interests.
I look forward to another exciting new year!
Sincerely,
Ms. Madelyn Macejik
